Keeping Busy

That’s what we’ve been doing. I have been working hard at my fabulous job. Things are going good there. I have a new assistant. She is great. It’s nice to have help. It took me forever to find her though. I put an ad on Craig’s List and in just a week I got hundreds of responses. I had to weed through them all and pick some to interview. Then the interviews were quite something. You should have seen some of those people who came in. It was interesting. But finally we narrowed it down to one and she started on Tuesday. She has been a big help.

Last weekend we went to the Del Mar racetrack to see the races. It was fun. The kids played in the infield. There were rides and activities and they were all free. I guess they make plenty of money on the betting. We walked all around and saw the horses. They all had some funny names. Anyway, it was fun and cheap. It only cost a few dollars to get in. And I didn’t loose any money. I didn’t win any either. Here are some pictures.
