Work is terrible. There is just so little to do. No one is ordering baskets now. They already bought them, filled them, and sold them to someone else. There is a warehouse person who spent all day standing by the office door smoking and trying to hear what we were talking about. We were not talking about him, who would? I am sure his smoking there will do wonders for my cough. The day just dragged by. A customer sent cookies and our insurance agent brought candy and our printer brought gingerbread, so it was not a total loss. Then the monitor on my computer went out. Our computer person is bringing me a new one tomorrow. That should do a little to pass the time.
Carolynn is working on her volcano. We had chicken fried steak for dinner. Catherine is Catherine.
Tomorrow The Simpson’s Movie comes to DVD. I will not be running out to purchase it because this close to Christmas you should never shop for yourself. However, I am absolutely positive that there will very soon be a present under the tree for me and that will be in it.
The 12 Days Of Christmas
On the 4th day of Christmas my true love gave to me
Four Calling Birds, Three French Hens, Two Turtle Doves, and a Partridge in a Pear Tree.
I Hope you get your Simpson's Movie doesn't seem like to much to ask. Catherine said it was real funny, so it must be good.
ReplyDeleteWell hope you get that monitor all hooked up first thing so you are not just sitting around twittling your thumbs.
Oh I am sure I will get it. Perhaps it was pre-ordered. :)
ReplyDeleteYou know Santa is a pretty tricky guy. I am sure he does a lot of his shopping on line, saves some wear and tear on the raindeer.
ReplyDeleteI had very giggly girls today and have been instructed to not open any packages that may come or that may appear mysteriously under my tree.
ReplyDeleteI am telling you, Santa seems to be pretty high tech, and now he has small children acting as elves, the guy is working smarter these days thats for sure.
ReplyDeleteI need some elves around my house, I want the kind that helped out the shoemaker. I do not need any shoes made but perhaps some ironing, dusting, or mopping.
