Childhood Memories

Carolynn-
Whenever I think of baseball, I think of Grandma’s den. It is filled of baseball stuff. I think everything anyone ever wanted to know about baseball is in Grandma’s den.

Catherine-
Once I went to a Dodger game and ate 3 Dodger dogs. They were huge and the best hot dogs of my life. I think the Dodger’s won too.

  1. I think Catherine is right Dodger dogs are the best. But to get the full effect they must be eaten at Dodger stadium. Carolynn is right too, there are many players on many teams that have done great things to make baseball America's past time. My brother the Red Sox fan thinks Lou Gehrig, a Yankee is the greatset player that ever played the game. My dad thinks Babe Ruth is the greatest player ever, although the best player he ever saw play in person was Ted Williams. My grandfather was drafted by the NY Yankees and would have played during the Babe's era but hurt his elbow and was done. My uncle Hank has a picture of him in his uniform back in the day. I have seen many great players that are now in the hall of fame, like Sandy Kofax, Willy Mays, and Cal Ripkin. They All played for different teams, but they made the game great. Just like in the movie field of dreams great players came from many different teams.
