After last night’s post (which I almost forgot… Thanks Trish.), I am seriously considering abandoning the NaBloPoMo challenge because I just don’t think I am interesting enough to write everyday. Does anyone actually care about my shoes? Probably not.
Today is not going to be much more exciting. I plan on paying bills, buying groceries and cleaning the house. Tomorrow I am going to my Grandpa’s to help him get ready to move. Exciting!
I just got an order (I am at work. Shhh. Don’t tell.) from a woman named Earnestine Pickett of Alabama. I am sure she is a lovely woman with many fine qualities, but tell me, isn’t this the most stereotypical southern hillbilly name you ever heard in your life?
In other work related happenings, yesterday my boss brought me chocolates from a place called Allie's Edibles. They were amazing. I am seriously considering ordering some for Christmas gifts.
Well just as I was getting ready to post on your shoes......I think they look "Wicked"

Okay, so someone cared about my shoes...
ReplyDeleteWell not really but it seemed to be important to you :)......I would break my neck in them.....Now that we have chatted about your "Wicked" shoes, I wanted to say I watched Survivor China last night, for the first time......That is the skinniest girl I have ever seen in my life, no wonder she didn't fall off the barrel she made Alyssa look like a chunky monkey.

your shoes were cute. i would never wear them, but they were cute. i want chocolate for a present.....maybe i should add that to my christmas list

Heather, if you wore shoes like that you'd be like 7 feet tall. :)
ReplyDeleteYou can't quit. Sheesh. And those were some shoes. I didn't say anything because I had no idea what to say. I want to see what you're going to wear them with. There. I just gave you another post.
ReplyDeleteI think you should get some striped stockings......you know the kind the Wicked Witch of the east was wearing before the house fell on her. Then when the Ruby Slippers end up on Dorothys feet..you just see the striped stockings roll up and under the house..........I would wear the pionted hat if I had one.

Would anyone be shocked to hear I actually looked for striped stockings? I couldn't find any and I am not a big fan of skirts and no one would know anyway. I intend to wear pants and a sweater with those shoes.
ReplyDeleteWell I need to run a few errands today so If I see any sriped stockings I will grab them up.

Don't abandon us! Just whinge about people. Thats what I do and it seems to work :)
ReplyDeleteLove the hillbilly name! I have been thinking about getting a pet and I so want to name it Earnestine Pickett now!
Do me one little favour will ya? Change either the yellow background or the blue text (maybe to black?) I had to got the comments to read your post cause I was going crosseyed!
Now back to housework, bill paying and grocery shopping..... blech.
Well, I will agree. The light blue (like Dorothy's dress) is hard to see on my laptop. I don't have too much trouble on my desktop though and that is where I was when I chose the colors. I darkened it up a few shades. Monday will start a new theme.
