Today one of the computers at work went out and I came home and got my laptop to work from. It seemed funny seeing my work stuff all sitting there along side me regular stuff. I was using something called remote desktop, and it allows me to log into work stuff from my laptop. I still think it is strange. Now that my boss can see I can get work stuff done from my laptop, I hope he does not get any ideas.
That is pretty cool I can log on to any computer in any county building and all my stuff comes up. They call that a roaming profile. I think a lot of people could work from home thanks to computers.
ReplyDeleteWe each have our own computer at work, but I can sign onto all three of them and get my stuff. But when there are three people and only two computers working... That's why I got my laptop and the computer guy set it up for me. It was just weird.
ReplyDeleteWell thats cool. I would like to work from home, I could sit around in my PJs and fuzzy slippers.....then again I have seen people come into our office in PJ pants and gross fuzzy slippers.
