Mind you, these are real names that real grown men actually call each other.

Big Bird

Dreamer
Most of them are gang related. None of them are particularly original or interesting. It is sort of crazy to hear a huge scary looking guy yelling for Big Bird or Cornflake. Of course they all think they are going to be the next 50Cent, Eminem, or Ice Cube. Boy are they wrong.
Is it bad that I know exactly what unit you were in and who these nicknames refer to? Of course, I did spend 6 months in there. :-)
ReplyDeleteImpossible. These nick names came from 3 different prisons, many different units and in case you didn't know from your 6 months of fun, some times nicknames repeat themselves.
