Yesterday I woke up with what I had thought what a slight sinus headache. I get those sometimes, so I simply took a Sudafed and went off to my fabulous pet shop job. But I didn't get better. It got worse and worse all day. I was hot, then cold. I was dizzy. My head was pounding. I was nauseous. It was awful. I don't know where it came from. I made it through my whole day at work, and then I stayed late to sell a puppy to a lady. (That takes some extra time.) Finally, I made it home. I flopped down on the couch. Carolynn cooked the dinner. (We had the very last Hamburger Helper.) Then I fell asleep on the couch. About 2 hours later, I got up and went to bed. Today, I feel fine.
Feeling fine today is a good thing, because today we are going to the fair with Helen and George. It is going to be fun. Catherine is very excited to see some cows.
This week, I started playing a football picking game online at a local radio station. I saw on the list that my dad is playing too. The weekly winners win pizza and if you are the over all season winner you get a new game room... pool table, dart board, bar, ect. If somehow, I manage to win that, I am giving it to my brother. He has a game room at his house. It has a dart board and ping pong table.
Carolynn ran her first cross country meet here on Thursday. She came is second. That's out of three grades and four schools. That kid can run. She was going to try volleyball, that starts after cross country ends, but they were already full. She will do track and field in the spring though.
Well, I am off to get ready for our day at the fair. Carolynn said my mom called last night while I was asleep and is expecting us there around 9:00.
The Mister and I both send our congratulations to Carolynn. Being in training for a marathon, he was quite impressed and asked if you knew her time.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are feeling better. At least you only had a 24 hour variety bug.
Take care.
Carolynn was awsome, She ran the whole way and it was hot out that day. She really can run like the wind blows.....
