Frozen Pups
Here is a picture of Elvis and Priscilla at our house in Kenosha. This was the same week we moved to San Diego. Unfortunately, we no longer have Priscilla. She was quite a bit older than Elvis. We kind of inherited her when we got to Kenosha. We had just gotten Elvis, he was still a puppy. Some guy told us about how his wife had wanted a dog and he got her a beagle. Anyways, he and his wife were split and she wasn't a dog person. She was feeding her giant dog kibble and keeping her locked in a cat carrier. He was going to go get her and take her to the pound. Well, we could not allow that. And so we got Priscilla. She was at least 7 or 8 years old when we got her. Her nails were too long and we had to take her to the groomers to get them trimmed. She was a funny dog. She liked to steal dryer sheets and roll around on them. She would get excited just to go to the store to get some soda. We still have Elvis. He is 7 years old now. And of course now we have my little Gibby. He is still a puppy and will probably never see snow like this. Pictures like this make me glad I said goodbye to Wisconsin!

Awww. Cold puppies. Bailey liked the snow when we lived in VT. I, of course, hated it. Yucko.
ReplyDeleteNot looking forward to snowfall. I get lots colder than the puppies.
ReplyDeleteI kind of enjoy the snow in Apple Valley.......it happens about every two years or so. The longest it has lasted is about two days.
ReplyDeleteI miss the snow at Christmas. It makes it more Christmas-y. It's cold and snowy and cozy and you can stay home and enjoy. I don't miss the snow any other day.
ReplyDeleteI love snow but I don't think I could handle it for as long as people in the North and Midwest have to endure. We actually use to get a decent amount at one time but I've not seen anything significant in years.
